Two graduates from the Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) made it to the top ten list of successful examinees of the August 2016 Mining Engineer Board Examination.
Anjaylove Sevilla Geniston ranked third with an average of 88.35 percent while Val Godfre Minoras Capin ranked fourth with an average of 88.15 percent.
The results were released last Friday evening by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Nestor Dela Cerna Opeña Jr of Caraga State University – Butuan City took the top spot with an average of 89.80 percent, followed by Donna Mae Parpan of Longga – Bicol University -Legazpi (88.55 percent) at the second spot.
Other topnotchers are Kimberly of Pagquia Rapirap – Bicol University – Legazpi (5th, 88.10 percent), Jasmin Jove De Vera of University of the Philippines – Diliman (6th, 87.85 percent), Renato Yecyec Sabat Jr. of Saint Paul University – Surigao (7th, 87.80 percent), Ryan Casanova Pacot of Saint Paul University – Surigao and ChristJohn Rhoie Caperlac Palacol of University of the Philippines-Diliman tied at 8th top spot with 87.70 percent, while Vince Ivan Fernandez Libao of Caraga State University – Butuan City landed at the 9th spot with 87.60 percent.
Hazel Atrasado Nuñez of Bicol University – Legazpi and Elma Jane De Padua Rapal of the University of Southeastern Philippines – Davao City tied at the 10th spot with an average of 87.30 percent.
211 successfully passed out of the 259 who took the exam
