A group of mobile phone photographers called Phoneography Cebu will be celebrating its 2nd year anniversary this August and will be launching the first-ever phone photography exhibit on August 21-28 at the Cyberzone of SM Seaside City Cebu.
The opening ceremonies on August 21 will start at 1:00 PM with invited guests from the Department of Tourism and SM executives cutting the ceremonial ribbon. A short program will follow where winning phone photographers will be awarded after their month-long Subang Sugbo photo contest was announced at their Facebook page. There will be photography workshops with top Cebu photographers and fashion bloggers. Albert Pedrosa, Alex Badayos, Victor Kintanar, Cebu fashion bloggers Doyskie and Marco, Mike Perez, Gerard Pareja and founders Crisanto Etorma and Noel Villaflor are some of the resource persons of the week-long workshops to be conducted in the afternoon of August 23, 25 and 27 at the Cyberzone area.
A mobile phone photo contest during the opening ceremonies will test the audience’s skills and artistic abilities in capturing photos using mobile phones. Cash prices and gift certificates will be given by the management of SM Seaside City Cebu for the top three best photos.
Phoneography Cebu invites all mobile phone enthusiasts to visit them and interact with other hobbyists. A registration of 500 pesos will have you a souvenir t-shirt, stickers, workshop materials and other souvenir items.
