TAKING good care of your hair is important, and there are several essential vitamins that can help you in your quest. You can get those important vitamins by making changes to your diet the natural way, or you can take store-bought vitamins.
Did you know, for example, that one vitamin your hair needs is Vitamin C? There are plenty of other vitamins your tresses need too and, in this article, you are about to learn the top five. Let’s get started.
1. Vitamin C
You’ve already been told about Vitamin C and in all likelihood you might have been able to guess that one anyway.
2. Vitamin E
Have you heard about people using Vitamin E oil on their hair? It’s a very important vitamin according to many hair experts. The big “E” can revitalize
and rejuvenate your hair.
You will soon observe that Vitamin E is used in many skincare and hair-care products.
3. B Vitamins
Cobalamin. Another one you might have heard about is Vitamin B12 or Cobalamin. However, B12 is just one of the B vitamins, and you can also benefit from getting more of the other B vitamins as well.
Niacin. Another of the B vitamins for healthy hairis Vitamin B3 or Niacin. It’s interesting because I used to take a daily Niacin supplement when I was young; thanks to my grandmother urging me to do so.
4. Vitamin D
Are you ready for the next vitamin that begs your attention when it comes to your hair? It’s vitamin D, and you wouldn’t believe that even though it’s one of the basic vitamins, people often don’t get enough of it at all.
5. Vitamin A
Now, if you’re not careful and you get too much of this next vitamin, it wouldn’t be good for your hair. As a matter of fact, taking 10,000 IUs of Vitamin A or more can make your hair fall out. Why? Well, it increases cell reproduction in hair follicles. This means your follicles reach the end of their growth phase faster. And, a normal growth cycle lasts about four years.
You’ve been told about some of the major vitamins important for hair health.
If you are ready for healthier hair, I would encourage you to start getting these
vitamins on a daily basis— without overdoing it, of course. You too can explore supplements, diet change and hair-care products that can help your hair to grow.
Remember that Vitamin E oil was mentioned earlier. Well, you might be surprised how many hair-care products use this oil. The bottom line, it is a lot easier than
you might have thought to have gorgeous, healthy hair.
