AFTER members of Cebu City’s Team Rama joined the Partido Demokratikong Pilipino-Laban ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza, Vice Mayor Marcial Ycong and 10 of his councilors will follow suit.
Radaza said in a press briefing yesterday that the schedule of their oath taking was still being finalized with House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez who would officiate the activity.
“We have found that our vision has aligned with that of President (Rodrigo) Duterte’s programs especially in the fight against illegal drugs and (has) made us decide to commit our full support to his programs,” said Radaza.
She said that as a tourism destination in Central Visayas, Lapu-Lapu City would need to be safe from criminality to progress further through tourism arrivals and investments.
Lapu-Lapu City’s Lone Congressional District Representative Aileen Radaza together with other Cebu representatives joined PDP-Laban a month ago.
