AFTER suffering a humiliating 48-73 loss at the hands of the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu, the Don Bosco Greywolves will try to find out what exactly they are made of as they seek to bounce back when they take on the dangerous Cebu Eastern College (CEC) Dragons today in the 16th Cesafi juniors basketball tournament at the Cebu Coliseum.
After a scintillating start to the season that saw them win four straight games, the Greywolves were stopped by the mighty Magis Eagles. After two weeks of going back to the drawing board, Don Bosco hits the hardcourt once again against a CEC (3-3) squad that also got whooped by Ateneo de Cebu, 41-88, last time out.
In other high school matches, the University of Cebu (UC) Baby Webmasters face off against the winless Cebu Institute of Technology-University Wildkittens (0-5).
A win today by both Don Bosco and UC will put them in a three-way tie with the Magis Eagles at the top of the heap at 5-1 (win-loss).
The Southwestern University (SWU)-Phinma Baby Cobras (2-4) will also tangle with the University of San Carlos Baby Warriors (1-4).
In the lone collegiate game of the day, the University of San Jose-Recoletos Jaguars aims to tighten their grip of third place when they battle the University of Southern Philippines Foundation Panthers. The Jaguars have three wins against two losses while the Panthers have a win to show in five games.
