Ex-convict shot dead in Talisay

An ex-convict was shot dead inside their house in Sitio Mananga 2, Barangay Tabunok, Talisay City around 9 p.m. last Sunday.

Ramil Tabay, 40, sustained gunshot wounds in the head and left shoulder.

According to PO2 Joseph Bejer of Talisay City Police Office, the victim was already sleeping inside their house with his live-in partner and two children when two unidentified men suddenly entered their house through the unlocked door and shot Tabay.

Bejer said the victim was convicted of murder but was released from prison after he was given a parole.

Police eyed revenge as the motive of the killing.
