Public told to remain calm, report suspicious activities

Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza called on the public to remain calm and report immediately any suspicious persons or activities to the police.

She also ordered additional security at City Hall.

Senior Supt. Rommel Cabagnot, Lapu-Lapu city police chief, asked barangay officials to provide civilian volunteers to augment their security efforts.

The volunteers will be used as additional intelligence force, will be trained with basic intelligence work, and given a uniform shirt.
