TWO suspects in the shooting of a policeman inside a motel in Barangay Guizo, Mandaue City were arrested at noon Wednesday.
SPO4 Marcos Noval said they arrested 25-year-old Mark RJ Tampus and a 16 year old girl at East Binabag Tayud, Consolacion town.
He said the police also went to Tayud, Liloan town to pursue 30-year-old suspect Rex Braga who fired at police but missed and was shot at the chest. He was rushed to the hospital.
All three suspects were positively identified by the security guard and the cashier. Tampus and the 16-year old girl checked in at the motel while Braga disarmed the guard, took the cash from the cashier and shot PO1 Erwin Pepito.
Police recovered from Tampus two .38 revolvers, one of which was owned by the motel’s security guard.
