Supportsave posts 60-point win to go up 8-0 in E-League

THE Supportsave Dragons kept their immaculate slate intact, racking up their eighth straight win with a merciless 119-59 torching of the Atos Falcons last Saturday in the 12th City Sports Club-Cebu (CSC-C) E-League for Basketball at the CSC-C Gym.

The 60-point massacre, the biggest winning margin in the season so far, solidified the Dragons’ hold of the number one spot in the EVO League standings.

Niño Belande once again paced the Dragons with 33 points, 10 rebounds, seven steals and three assists.

Four other Dragons scored in double figures as Janille Christian Bantilan added 20 points, Ralph Laurence Flores donated 18 points and 11 rebounds, Generoso Pardenilla contributed 14, while Germaine Jo Guarisma had 10.

Lanz Lawrence Lopez scored 20 points and John Rey Cabatingan had 20 for the sputtering Falcons, who absorbed their eighth loss in as many games.

On the other hand, the QBE Generals kept in step with the Dragons after they nipped the Author Solutions Inc. (ASI) Hardbacks, 88-71.

Johnrey Girasol fired 24 points as QBE firmed up their hold of the second spot in EVO League with a 9-1 (win-loss) record.

Backing Girasol were Christopher James Durango, Carlo Cabarrubias and Ariane Baluyot, who cashed in 20, 16 and 10 points, respectively.

Benjam Anthony Mosquera tallied 20 points for the Hardbacks, who slid to 4-4.

In other games, Ellison Rivera piled up 19 points, 13 rebounds, five steals and five assists to lift the Dynnino Raptors over the United Health Group Cobras, 58-45, while Jude Arthur Go scattered 22 points to lead The Results Spartans to an 88-80 victory over the Teletech Titans.

The Raptors improved to 5-4, while the Cobras fell to 2-6. The Spartans climbed to 4-5, while pulling the Titans down to 0-8.
