A SURRENDERER was arrested by Liloan police in a buy bust operation in Sitio Curva, Barangay Yati in Liloan town at 9:40 p.m. last Saturday.
The 40-year-old suspect identified as Opeljones Toong Mina was in the list of over 1,200 drug suspects who surrendered to police during their Oplan TokHang.
P01 Jess Gonzaga, desk officer of the Liloan police precinct, said the suspect went back to his illegal drug activities not long after.
Mina’s arrest is part of the police’s Project Double Barrel operation enforced nationwide.
Recovered from Mina were five small sachets containing shabu weighing 0.25 grams and a street value of P2,950 and the P200 marked money used in the operation.
Peljo is now detained at the Liloan police precinct pending the filing of charges against him.
