Print and broadcast journalists of Cebu, for a change, donned glamorous outfits and sashayed their way on the catwalk yesterday for the pageant night of Mr. and Ms. Cebu Press Freedom 2016 at The Ballroom of Summit Circle Hotel, Cebu city.

It was a special night not only for the launching of the 22nd Cebu Press Freedom Week but also to all eight candidates from the Kapisanan ng Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP), The Freeman, Sun*Star Cebu and Cebu Daily News.

And once again, it belonged to Cebu Daily News as they swept the titles for the second consecutive year.

The crowns for Mr. and Ms. Cebu Press Freedom 2016 were won by Rabboni Borbon and Lesley Cara delos Santos.

In 2015, CDN’s Victor Silva and Vanessa Lucero were crowned Mr. and Ms. Cebu Press Freedom respectively.
