Doctor given until Monday to explain side on plaint

A doctor assigned at Dr. Jose Ma. V. Borromeo Memorial District Hospital of Pinamungajan town is suspended pending an investigation by the Provincial Health Office.

PHO chief Rene Catan said the doctor has until Monday to answer the complaint filed against her by staff nurses and attendants at the offices of Cebu Gov. Hilario Davide III and Vice Gov. Agnes Magpale.

The doctor whose identity is withheld since she has yet to explain her side, is accused by the nurses and attendants of unprofessional behavior towards them and the patients.
