A FACTORY worker was shot on his back at White Road, Barangay Inayawan 10 minutes before noon Thursday.
Arnulfo Gadiano was shot twice in the back by a certain Benjamin “Abe” Abellana Jr., whose background remain unknown as of this writing.
Gadiano, a 48-year-old resident of Abasolo Compound, Barangay Inayawan, was walking in a vacant lot in White Road toward the main road, F. Jaca Street, when Abellana fired at him from behind.
Gadiano managed to run away after the first shot but slumped face down on the road a few meters from where he originally was. Gadiano was immediately brought to the Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) where he died.
