Female drug suspect shot down in Cebu City

A female drug suspect was shot dead by two motorcycle-riding assailants in sitio Baha, Barangay Calamba, Cebu City at midnight Saturday.

Jesusa Jessica Jaca sustained multiple gunshot wounds, said SPO2 Rommel Bancog, homicide investigator.

Bancog said Jaca was walking along the street at the time of the ambush.

The 40-year-old Jaca was brought to Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) where she died an hour after.

Bancog said residents in the area told them that Jaca served as a drug runner in the area.
