A THIRD year high school student was arrested in a drug bust at T. Villa Street, barangay T. Padilla, Cebu City by at 12:45 pm Monday.
Supt. Fermin V. Armedarez III, asst. regional director of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), said their team ordered 30 ampules of Nubain worth P6,000 from 22-year-old Kenneth Caballes.
After sealing the deal, the team arrested Caballes. Caballes said he was asked by a certain “Ate” of barangay Kamagayan, Cebu City to deliver the Nubain.
Caballes’ mother was arrested for drugs some time ago and he is the third of nine children. Nubain, a cheaper alternative to shabu, is an opiod pain medication that is sometimes used as a narcotic.
