Tumulak to PNP : Name barangay-level drug coddlers

Cebu City Councilor Dave Tumulak, deputy mayor for police matters urged the Philippine National Police (PNP) to divulge the names of Cebu City barangay officials and tanods who are involved in the illegal drugs trade.

According to Tumulak there were at least four barangay councilors and tanods named by an arrested drug suspect as either his coddler or pusher.

“I encourage police to divulge those barangay officials, tanods, law enforcers; or let the suspect announce it,” Tumulak said.
