AN earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale was felt in Metro Cebu at 5:02 am Tuesday.
Robinson Gorgio of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake’s origin was located six kilometers deep in the sea east of Liloan town.
The quake was felt strongly in the towns of Liloan and Consolacion as well as the cities of Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu and Cebu.
Gorgio said there were no reported damages in these areas.
