THE Don Bosco Technological Center (DBTC) Greywolves crushed Bayawan City, 2-0 Monday at the start of the 2016 Pintaflores U16 National Football Cup held in San Carlos City.
Miguel Mercader and Gian Teves scored for Don Bosco in the 78th 82nd minute, respectively as the Bosconians hope to improve on their runner-up finish last year.
Bayawan City is the reigning secondary division champion of this year’s Milo Little Olympics Visayas Regional Finals.
Abellana National School meanwhile, got off to a rough start after losing to Bayawan City, 0-2. DBTC and ANS will meet today at 8 a.m.
Today’s other games pit defending champion, Barotac Nuevo of Ilo-ilo City against host San Carlos City while Bacolod City plays University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R)-Balamban Campus.
