Talisay City Mayor Eduardo Gullas and his grandson, Rep. Gerald Gullas of Cebu’s 1st district visited Chief Supt. Noli Taliño, director of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7), to manifest support to, Supt. Emerson Dante, new police chief of the city, and the government’s anti-illegal drugs campaign.
Gullas expressed fears that opponents in politics may drag the him into the illegal drugs trade after Supt. Aileen Recla was relieved from her post as Talisay City police chief.
“Because of the politics here in Cebu, that (to be impleaded in the illegal drugs trade) is not impossible,” he said.
But he said the Gullases are never involved in any illegal activities.
