A 2.5 magnitude tremor was recorded off the municipality of Alegria in Cebu on Wednesday morning.
A bulletin published by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the earthquake was recorded at 7:08 a.m. on November 2, All Saints’ Day.
The quake was tectonic in origin, recorded at a depth of 23 kilometers and located at around 10 kilometers north of Alegria, the Phivolcs bulletin said. It had no felt intensity.
Desmond Platero, administrative and training officer of the Alegria Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, said there was no recorded damage since the quake was not felt on the ground.
