Tepora takes on Indonesian foe in ‘Who’s Next?’ 3

FOR the first time in his professional career, Omega Boxing Gym’s Jhack Tepora will be fighting a foreigner opponent when he headlines the third installment of “Who’s Next 3?” Pro Boxing Series scheduled on December 2 at the Mandaue City Cultural Sports Complex.

Putting his unbeaten record (18W-13KOs) on the line, Tepora will be taking on Indonesian Galih Susanto, who has 12 wins, six losses and one draw.

Susanto has two knockout victories and has won his last two fights.

“We’re very excited about this fight as we can assess how far Jhack has gone as a boxer and we also want to know how far he can go. We’re also very grateful to all those who supported our first two editions which exceeded expectations,” said Paulo Castillo, president of the Omega Pro Sports International.

Tepora is the reigning is the current WBO Asia Pacific Youth super bantamweight champion and is ranked 10th in the WBO ranking.

Tepora will get a chance to win another belt as his fight against Susanto will stake the vacant WBO Oriental super bantamweight belt.

The upcoming fight card, which is free to the public, will also feature other Omega Gym fighters such as Kenny Demecillo, Christian Araneta, former Olympian Mark Anthony Barriga, Jason Redondo, Jhaleel Payao, Tomjune Mangubat, Jay-Ar Aliasot, Feljune Taneo and Marjun Piencenaves.
