Man nabbed for sneaking illegal drug into jail

A 21-year-old man was arrested last Friday after trying to sneak illegal drug into the detention cell of Consolacion Police Station.

Ranie Monterola of Barangay Poblacion Oriental, Consolacion was about to deliver to a 16-year-old female inmate several pieces of Spanish bread, which turned out to contain illegal drug believed to be shabu and two pieces tinfoil during inspection.

He escaped arrest.

His mother turned him over to the police Friday afternoon. The suspect admitted that he was ordered by the female inmate to bring the illegal drug as she wanted to inhale it.
