ROY Gerobiese exploded for 26 points to lead the Guards to a 96-86 victory over the Campus Planners in the 11th Recoletos de Cebu Basketball League (RCBL) at the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) open gym last Saturday.
Gerobiese unloaded 10 of his total output in the final period, helping the Guards book their third straight victory.
Roland Aredidon fired 19 markers for the Planners, who tasted their first loss in three games.
In the other game, Recoletos Pilipinas banked on a balanced attack to nip Pacubas Basak, 94-85.
Recoletos Pilipinas got 12 points each from Fr. Vicente Ramon and Lainel Reyes, while Fr. Nestor Raras and Ranel Embalzado chipped in 10 each.
Meanwhile, the Our Lady of Consolation Parish Recoletos (OLCPR) De Laray cruised to a 72-62 win over Pacubas Main.
