Mandaue City Mayor Gabriel Luis Quisumbing has ordered the suspension of classes in public schools across all levels for November 25, Friday due to the entry of tropical depression Marce.
With the order, classes for public preschools, elementary, high schools, and colleges in Mandaue City are suspended.
The Mandaue City Public Information Office (PIO) posted a copy of the memorandum in its official Facebook page signed by Quisumbing.
Mandaue City PIO also clarified in the comments section of the post that classes for preschool and elementary were suspended today while classes for high school and college have not been suspended.
Cebu is currently under Storm Signal Number 1 after Tropical Depression ‘Marce’ developed from a low pressure area.
