Suspected drug pusher killed inside his home in Mandaue

A suspected drug pusher died on the spot after he was shot several times by an unidentified person while dining with family inside their house at Upper Labogon, Mandaue City past 8:00 p.m on Wednesday.

PO3 Ricardo Petiluna of Basak Police Station said John Hope Corbo, 39, was dining with his wife and two children when a man suddenly entered their home and shot Corbo several times.

His wife recalled hearing gunshots and seeing a man wearing something to cover his face. She could not identify the assailant among the photos of possible suspects in the police file.

Although listed among drug personalities in Mandaue City, Corbo was not in the list of surrenderers.

Police are conducting further investigation on the case to determine the real motive behind the killing.
