Cebu Province bagged 3 awards in the first Sports Tourism Awards held at Resorts World Manila last November 22, 2016.
The province of Cebu was awarded as Organizer Of The Year and Event Of The Year for hosting the 2015 Cobra Ironman 70.3 Philippines.
Cebu province was also awarded as Destination Marketing Of The Year for marketing and promoting the 2015 Cobra Ironman 70.3 Philippines effectively.
Cebu Province Sports Commission Executive Director Atty. Ramil Abing said that the awards bring positive impact and will complement Cebu’s tourism industry as it can encourage more event organizers to come and hold their events in Cebu./USJ-R Interns Jheysel Ann Tangaro and Vanisa Soriano
