Following a positive response from the Cebuano market, homegrown skin-care makeup brand Happy Skin opened its first boutique in Cebu on Thursday.

Located at the first level of The Northwing at SM City Cebu, the boutique offers makeup that cares for the skin.

In an interview, founders Jacque Yuengtian-Gutierrez and Rissa Mananquil-Trillo said that they have been distributing their products in Cebu for three years now through Beauty Bar and found that the market loves what they offer.

“Happy Skin is among the top selling brands in Beauty Bar. We are very encouraged with the market response so we finally decided to open our first boutique outside of Manila here in Cebu,” said Gutierrez.

Trillo said their products contain skin caring ingredients like Shea butter and Cherry Blossom extracts that’s known to benefit the skin.

“That is why more and more Filipinas love Happy Skin because our products don’t ruin your skin,” said Trillo.

The Cebu boutique is the 12th boutique in the country. They are set to open two more stores this year.

The brand was founded in 2013.
