P200K ‘shabu’ seized in Consolacion

ALMOST P200,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated, while nine drug suspects were arrested in separate police operations in Consolacion town on Wednesday evening.

The first antidrug operation led by Consolacion police chief Senior Insp. William Homoc resulted in the arrest of five persons in Sitio Bagakay, Barangay Tayud, past 7 p.m. Jessie Retiza, of legal age, was the target of the operation, but four other persons who were with him inside his house were also arrested. Police seized 15 small sachets of alleged shabu worth P11,900 and the P300 buy-bust money.

Later at around 9:30 p.m., the same police team conducted a buy-bust operation against Glecerio Capuyan in Sitio Laray, Barangay Pitogo. Capuyan and his three cohorts Mixon Capuyan, Ronald Buot and Vanessa Avila, both of legal age, were arrested by the police. Police were able to confiscate three medium packs and a small sachet of alleged shabu worth around P182,800 based on Dangerous Drugs Board value.
