The special order was signed by Department of Transportation (DOT) Secretary Arthur Tugade.

Regional Director Ahmed Cuizon of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB-7) will be the officer-in-charge for the agency’s Eastern Visayas office.

A special order was signed by Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade last December 1 informing Cuizon of his assignment.

“LTFRB Chairman Martin Delgra told me to do a systems check in LTFRB-8, make recommendations to address corruption and improve the delivery of services there,” Cuizon said.

But Cuizon clarified that he is still the LTFRB director for Central Visayas, which means he handles two regions. Cuizon will report to Tacloban City every week.

“But I still have to comply with some administrative requirements. So, I will start reporting there by next week yet, between December 20 to 23,” he said.
