ALA pug Sultan scores big win abroad, bags IBF belt

ALA Boxing Gym’s rising boxer Jonas Sultan scored a stunning victory abroad as he knocked out South African Makazole Tete in the second round early morning today in Eas London, Eastern Cape, South Africa.

The win allowed the Zamboanga del Norte-native Sultan to steal Tete’s International Boxing Federation (IBF) Intercontinental super flyweight belt while improving his record to 12W-3L-8KOs.

Tete absorbed his second loss to go with 15 wins (11KOs) and two draws.
