Cebu City–A suspected drug pusher was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Buanoy in Balamban town, 54.5 kilometers west of here, on Saturday.
Jerry Decastro Macasi, 27, was arrested by Balamban police at 12:55 a.m. on Saturday, December 31.
In a press release issued by Senior Investigator Ramil Judilla Morpos, arresting officers recovered from the suspect two small packs of shabu weighing 0.08 grams valued at P944, two P100 bills used as marked money and P200 cash believed to be proceeds of his illegal drug trade.
Macasi is currently detained at Balamban Police station pending the filing of charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Article 2 of RA 9165 or the Dangerous Drugs Act.
