THE Bobcats drubbed the Leopards, 95-77, for a strong start in the first season of the Elite Basketball Club-Toledo last Friday night at the CEDC Multi-Purpose Gym in Toledo City.
Dennis Labang fired 23 points to lead the Bobcats, while Louis Allen Rasco added 17 markers.
Mervin Dahaya led the losing team with 28 points. Raymond Narvacan added 14.
Also winning in their opening assignments were the Broncos and the Stallions.
Ryan Tuburan scored 25 points and Jorge Alicaway chipped in 16 to lead the Broncos over the Bulldogs, 78-72.
The Bulldogs were led by Walter Sayson and Glenn Jamero, who tallied 24 and 15 markers, respectively.
The Stallions, on the other hand, edged out the Huskies, 71-69, behind Alique Visitacion, Jeb Bacalso and Clint Cayang, who collected 23, 22, 17 points, respectively.
The Huskies were led by Rammy Labandero’s 20 markers.
