BRIAN Lauren Sy and senior bowler Cynthia Uybengkee were named the top bowlers in the weekly finals of the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (Cetba) Friday Group held last Saturday at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Sy, is a monthly champion last year, finished with 956 pinfalls to rule the men’s division while Uybengkee finished with 806 pinfalls to top the women’s division.
Celis Viloria came in second with 883 pinfalls while Cetba vice president Docdoc Gothong finished third with 829 pinfalls.
Armando Despojo settled for fourth place with 806 pinfalls and Fred Torrequemada salvaged the fifth place with 802 pinfalls.
Sonia Gakenholz trailed Uybengkee in the distaff side with 795 pinfalls followed by Inday Aguilar (775), Emi Osada (740) and Lerna Williams (614), respectively.
There are still two games left to be competed to determine the Cetba Friday Group monthly champions for January.
