TOO MUCH OF A COINCIDENCE
When an intelligence branch of a police unit in Cebu conducted two buy-bust operations simultaneously, it raised suspicions on some people.
A Siloy pal was incredulous that the operations in different places had the same confiscated items.
“Nahibong g’yud ko lahi og lugar pero nganong parehas og firearms na-confiscate pati pila kabook bala? Magduda man sad ta sa operasiyon!” the pal said.
(I was surprised that they operated in different places but seized the same kind of firearms and the same amount of bullets. That operation is questionable!)
DOG TALE
A teenager student was seen ranting publicly about President Rodrigo Duterte.
The student from a well-known university in Cebu City was still in his uniform while describing Digong as the same as a “rabid dog.”
He noted that after the criticizing the United of States then to United Nations, the president is now badmouthing the Catholic Church.
“Naunsa naman tawon na siya uy? Pataka man og pamahit. Mura man og irong buang,” he said.
(What is happening to him? He bites everyone, like a rabid dog.)
NO AURA
A group of six pageant enthusiasts were betting on their choice for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant, but no one bet on Maxine Medina, the country’s representative.
One of them said that Medina lacks something to win the crown. “Murag kuwang ra g’yud siya og aura,” he said.
