EMI Osada and Marvin Sevilla took top honors yesterday in the “Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association (CETBA) Friday Group Weekly Tournament” at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center.
Osada dominated the female division by knocking down 901 pins in four games highlighted by a 220. She bested Sonia Gakenholz (847) and Esther Francisco (834). CETBA President Engr. Gretchen Tormis placed fourth with 803 pinfalls while Inday Aguilar (770) and Frenzy Williams (699) finished fifth and sixth, respectively.
Sevilla meanwhile, ruled the men’s division with 834 pinfalls, edging second placer Fred Torrequemada who toppled 826 pins. Joseph Yu (825), Ging Francisco (819) and Edgar Cortes (818) rounded off the men’s top 5.
Sixth to 10th placers were Terrence Williams (799), Gerry Davis (798), Celis Viloria (792), Makoto Osada (789) and Cerge Go (782), respectively.
