DRUNK DRIVING

A group of friends who spent hours drinking in a convenience store along N. Bacalso Avenue decided to call it a night and went their separate ways.

But while the others hailed a taxi, one of them insisted on riding his motorcycle despite being in a drunken stupor.

NO FOREVER

A lot of people have visited the newly opened 10,000 Roses Café in Cordova town, and while it helped promote the café, it also resulted in unwelcome negligence.

Photos that went viral on social media showed the artificial flowers that light up at night were destroyed due to the large number of tourists that take selfies in the middle of the field.

On seeing these photos, one netizen noted, “See? Wa ju’y forever bisan ug artificial pa (there’s no forever even if it’s artificial).”

VENOMOUS FRIENDS

During an out-of-town seminar, the participants were shown pictures of different snakes that are endemic to the area.

One of the participants then whispered to her seatmate, “Daghan sad diay mo ug mga ahas diri noh? Abi nako ako ra’ng mga friends (You have plenty of snakes here too? I thought the only snakes were my friends).”
