BRIBE CLAIM

Local reporters were abuzz over reports that a top Palace official alleged that some reporters covering the Senate allegedly received $1,000 each in order to cover a press conference of a critic of President Rodrigo Duterte.

These reporters were quick to criticize and question the official’s claim who didn’t mention the critic’s backers.

They also chided the official for being critical of the media despite his being a former broadcaster before being appointed by the President.

Some costumers of a popular food chain were disappointed on seeing the actual sundae they bought that looked different from the concoction advertised in TV and print.

Instead of a mouthwatering, two-toned, pink and blue drink with a scoop of ice cream on top, what they received was a pale-toned drink with the ice cream topping already melted.

A Facebook post advertising free plane tickets to any destination and pocket money managed to fool a lot of netizens who failed to see the loophole until later.

The post invited users to make a comment so they can get a chance to win the tickets and pocket money.
