RUDE SECRETARY

THE secretary of a southern Cebu mayor acted quite rude towards a reporter who asked for an interview with her boss.

While telling the reporter to wait, the secretary didn’t bother putting the call on hold and complained loudly to her officemates about how she found the reporter annoying.

When she hung up on the reporter without bothering to explain, the reporter called her up and then slammed the phone down.

YUPPIE MISTAKE

A YOUNG urban professional or yuppie brought a friend and his dog to a veterinarian’s office for a monthly checkup when he saw a girl carrying her pet dog.

Hoping to impress her, the yuppie showed off his knowledge of canines to his friend who played along.

When she asked him what his spotted dog’s breed is, he replied “Japanese Spitz,” drawing a snicker from the vet’s secretary.

When he asked her what her dog’s breed is, she replied “Japanese Spitz,” causing him undue embarrassment.

FINE VISION

A broadcaster recalled visiting his eye doctor as part of his monthly checkup.

The broadcaster, who was worried about his vision, said he felt relieved after being told by his doctor that his eyesight was fine.

He said the doctor asked him, “Can you still see a beautiful woman from afar?”

When he replied yes, his doctor told him “then you’re okay.”
