WITH just one leg left in the entire series, Keken Cabahug of Honda Motorworld Racing Team can safely say to himself that he is the overall champion in the elite 130cc underbone division of the Honda Dream Cup Series.
This after Cabahug, who topped the second and third legs this year, has already accumulated 134 points ahead of Team CRT’s Zac Lyndon Cañeda who has 119 points after three legs as well. Team MAC’s Lyndon Requilme is at third with 86 points followed by FDR Gud Moto’s Simon Solon with 78 points. Cabahug earned a total of 100 points combined in the two previous legs.
The last of the four legs is slated on March 19 at the Kartzone in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City. The final leg will also determine the overall champions of the other divisions.
Spencer Simon currently leads in the elite 130cc scooter division with 138 points after ruling the second and third legs with Mark Kapoy of Honda Motorworld/Skut Garage lurking behind him with 127 points and Jeslouie Vega of Team Cyrus paces at third with 118 points and Caneda at fourth with 102 points.
Sylvister Ramirez, meanwhile, leads in two categories; the beginner underbone 130cc and the Honda Beat beginners category. He has 100 points to lead the beginner underbone 130cc category followed by Suliman Orlanes with 86 points and Saiyad Sahil running at third with 83 points. Ramirez has 121 points in the Honda beginners category leading ahead of Luis Kyle Quindao who has 98 points and Sahil at third with 83 points.
Gud Moto’s John Paul Manatad leads the beginner 130CC scooter division with 117 points followed by Quindao of team CRT/TGG with 87 points and Algybriel Cañeda at third with 84 points.
In the ladies division, Chloe Mallari leads with a huge margin in the points system with 137 points, while Ralph Romero has 136 points to spearhead the Honda Club race category.
