THE SEVEN-TIME National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) Cebu champions Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles will have their work cut out for them as they have been bracketed in Group A alongside NCAA runners-up San Beda and foreign squads AusPinoy One Solutions and FilAm Sports USA in the upcoming SM-NBTC League National High School Championship, which starts on Monday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The revised final bracketing and schedule was released on Thursday night. The one-time national champions will kick off their campaign with a match against AusPinoy One Solutions at 11:30 p.m. They will then face off against the Red Cubs, who booted them from the semis last year, in the nightcap at 7 p.m.

On the 14th, the Magis Eagles will wrap up their elimination round stint with a game against the FilAm Sports USA, which will feature the Fil-American Ronald Harper Jr, son of former NBA champion Ron Harper.

Meanwhile, Cebu’s Division 2 representative, St. Louis College-Cebu, was placed in Group 1 with St. Joseph College from Olongapo, St. Jude College from Cavite and Notre Dame of Midsayap from Kidapawan, Cotabato.

The Cardinals tangle against St. Jude on Monday morning before facing off against St. Joseph in the afternoon. They complete their elimination round schedule with a match versus Notre Dame the following day.
