TEAMS of the Cebu Football Association (CFA) in the ongoing Festival of Footballs (FOF) in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental continue to sizzle after the second day of competition last Sunday.
Leading the way are CFA’s girls under-15 booters, who defeated Negros Oriental Football Association (NORFA), 4-0, following a perfect run in the first day of the competition last Saturday. CFA’s under-13 girls team also edged NORFA, 4-0.
The boys’ under-13 team of CFA beat NOFA’s Team A and B. They first downed NOFA’s Team A, 4-2, then routed NOFA’s Team B, 4-0.
Last Saturday, all of CFA’s teams in the four divisions won all their matches.
But the CFA’s boys’ under-15 team had to settle for a 0-0 draw with NOFA in their lone match of the day.
The three-day competition is organized by the Philippine Football Federation.
