KEKEN Cabahug of Team Cyrus gathered enough points in previous legs to emerge as the overall champion in the elite 130CC underbone category of the Honda Motorworld-Cebu Dream Cup, which held its last leg on Sunday at the Kartzone track in F. Cabahug Street in Cebu City.
Cabahug settled only for a second-place finish in the final leg but still bagged the overall title.
Cabahug topped the two previous legs to gather a total of 175 points in the series. Zac Cañeda finished second with 158 points followed by Lyndon Requilme with 136 points.
Requilme of Team MAC bagged 50 points for topping the final leg. Cabahug, for finishing second, added 41 points while Cañeda of FDR-Gud Moto placed third for 39 points.
Cañeda’s teammate Simon Spencer Solon, meanwhile, emerged overall champion in the elite 130cc scooter division. He finished with a total of 182 points.
Like Cabahug, Solon finished second in the final leg to but still got the top spot for getting enough points from the previous legs.
Mark Capoy finished second in with 170 points while Cañeda rounded off the top three with 147 points.
Sylvester Ramirez, John Paul Manatad, Chloe Mallari and Ralph Armero each dominated their respective categories to give FDR-Gud Moto four titles in the race.
Ramirez was named the overall champion in the beginners’ 130cc underbone category. He had a total of 145 points.
Manatad clinched the overall title in the beginners’ 130cc scooter division with 154 points.
Mallari ruled the ladies open Honda Beat category with 183 points while Armero topped the Honda Club Race category with 174 points.
Luis Kyle Quindao ruled the Honda Beat regular category with a total points of 146 points.
