Since local media outlets were closed during the Holy Week, the broadcaster said he would propose to management that they remain open even during that period.
He also said he would propose that the reporters remain on active duty at the time, drawing groans from the staff who are planning next year’s vacation.
WRONG NAME
An intern got scolded on-air by the host when he erroneously named his source Jonathan instead of Joselito.
The program host then proceeded to call him by another name and asked him what he felt after being wrongly identified.
The intern replied, “Okay lang sir, ngalan man sa sikat nga artista (It’s okay, sir. It’s the name of a famous actor).”

Despite a court settlement on the dispute, a public official threatened to file criminal charges against those planning to disrupt the administration’s plans.
His fellow official gently reminded him that filing charges against the other party would defeat the purpose of an amicable settlement.
