MARC Nicole Suson extended his winning streak against Stephen Guia to five as he defeated the latter twice to claim two titles in the Cebuana Lhuillier Age Group Tennis Championships in Maasin City, Leyte on Wednesday.
The University of Cebu ace, who defeated Guia twice in the Baybay leg and once in Bohol, started the day with a morale–boosting victory over Guia, 6–3, 6–1, to snag the 16–under boys’ title.
Later that day, Suson of Team Dunlop Philippines defeated the Dipolog City native Guia anew, 6–3, 6–0, to take home the 18–under crown, registering his fifth consecutive finals victory over the latter.
With his twin kill, Suson has already bagged a total of seven championships in Cebuana Lhuillier tournaments.
