As part of the week-long celebration, the mascots of Datu Lapu-Lapu, Reyna Bulakna and the Asian Dowitcher were presented on Tuesday evening at the food festival in Liberty Shrine.

She said they included the Asian Dowitcher as this can be found at the bird sanctuary on Olango Island.
Along with the presentation of the mascots, they also unveiled the 3D mural paintings displayed at the Liberty Shrine. The paintings feature the very important sites and local products such as the Our Lady of the Rule Parish, Datu Lapu-Lapu, Bird Sanctuary and Lapu-Lapu guitar.
