MAKOTO Osada and Lyn Oka grabbed the Bowler of the Month for April honors in the Cebu Tenpin Bowling Association’s (CETBA) Friday Group Monthly Tournament held at the SM City Cebu Bowling Center last Friday.
Osada and his wife Emi Osada actually dominated the five-round, monthly tilt with 1,113 and 1,096 pinfalls, respectively.
The latter however, has already won a monthly tournament title earlier so second placer Oka was handed the title.
Oka finished behind Emi Osada in the women’s division with 983 pin falls while Baby Bacon (894 pinfalls) and Frenzy Williams (798) rounded off the top four in the women’s division.
Joseph Yu meanwhile, finished second to Makoto Osada with 1,052 pinfalls while Ronan Barredo placed third with 1,023 pinfalls.
Marvin Sevilla and Fred Torrequemada scored 1,004 and 996 pinfalls, respectively for fourth and fifth places.
