LOVELY Andrin and Joseph Arnel Emia were the big winners in the Run for Gift of Life yesterday.
Andrin crossed the finish line at the Robinsons Galleria Cebu with a time of one hour, 19 minutes and 58 seconds to rule the women’s 16-kilometer race.
Emia, on the other hand, topped the men’s race by clocking 1:00.45
Andrin’s runners up were Rona Lacanlale (1:24.42) and Jona dela Torre (1:24.51). Sherwin Managuil (1:01.32) and A.G Mercado (1:08.49) rounded off the top three in the men’s side.
In the 8k race, triathlete Joland Olmilla clocked 29:48 to win the men’s contest while Cherry Andrin, younger sister of Lovely, ruled the women’s division with a time of 40:53.
Winners in the 3k race were Jeboy Magbologtong (09:58) and Agnes Segundino (16:35).
A total of 1,800 runners joined the running event organized by the Rotary Club of Cebu for the benefit of Let It Echo, a non-profit foundation which helps children suffering with congenital heart disease.
