PROVING that his previous win was no fluke, Adones Cabalquinto defeated Rodel Wenceslao of Team Joeric Boxing in their rematch in last Friday’s
“Davao Boxing Showdown,” which was held during the third Games and Amusements Board (GAB) Boxing Convention at the Marco Polo Hotel in Davao City.
Cabalquinto once again dominated Wenceslao to chalk up a unanimous decision (UD) win, duplicating his UD victory in their first meeting last June 4 at the Almendras Gym in Davao del Sur.
Cabalquinto improved to 24W-3L-0-15KOs, while the Cebu-based Wenceslao suffered his 15th defeat with 11 wins, four by knockouts, and a single draw.
