A graduate of the Cebu Normal University was among the top notchers of the March 2017 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), secondary level.
Ronald Gaballo landed in the 10th place with an average rate of 90.20 percent.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), which released the official results on Monday, only 5,600 elementary teachers out of 53,915 who took the exam passed.
At the secondary level, only 18,482 out of 72,584 examinees also successfully passed the exam.
In the top spot is Marian Kaye Fortinez Gallego of the University of Mindanao in Davao City with 92.80 percent rating.
Other top notchers are Acejan Lascuña Jadie of De La Salle University (2nd); Allan Geoffrey Cruz of Ateneo de Manila and Flabelle Tan (3rd); Nicko Tumala of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela (4th); Gerlie Albia of University of Mindanao – Digos College (5th); Rosa Mae Salazar and Christine both from University of Mindanao (6th) ; Leslae Kay Mantilla of University of Mindanao (7th); Clarisse Gillian Amora of Holy Name University – Tagbilaran, Mark King Cornel Ampis of Philippine Dominican Center of Institutional Studies, Christine Clarisse Planas of University of Mindanao (8th); Aaron Benedict Yu Chi of University of Mindanao, Mark John Pepito and Debbie Marie Verzosa of Ateneo de Manila University (9th); Racquel Luban and Melanie Baniwas of Saint Louis University, Mark Robel Enerio of Mindanao Santarium and Hospital College of Medicall Arts, Steve Mathew Garcenila of Manila Central University, Marvin Quayzon of Leyte Normal University and John Edward Valera of De La Salle University (10th).
