Global Cebu FC guns for 2nd straight win

GLOBAL Cebu FC looks to be on a winning roll before it plays its first home game in Cebu City next Wednesday against Ceres Negros FC in the Philippines Football League (PFL).

Global Cebu tamed host team Davao Aguilas FC, 2-1, last Wednesday at the at the Davao del Norte Sports Complex in Tagum City and will next face Kaya FC Makati on Sunday before heading to Cebu. A win there will give the team some sort of momentum going into their home game at the Cebu City Sports Center (CCSC).

Global Cebu is now in third place with 13 points off four wins, one draw and two losses. The Aguilas remain in sixth place from a pool of eight teams with four points as they have yet to register their first win in the league.

An own goal by Davao and another goal by Sekou Sylla allowed Cebu to come out victorious last Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Cebu Football Association (CFA) announced the prices for next Wednesday’s game against Ceres Negros FC. Tickets are priced at P200, P100 and P20. Tickets are available at the CFA office inside the CCSC.
